Reduce, reuse and recycle is easy to do!! Just ask our preschool friends! We have discussed many ways in which we can help our Earth and how we can save energy and waste. Our week was full of outdoor fun (although Mother Nature tried to change our plans, but she couldn't rock our boat we are flexible) :) Thank you to all those families that were troopers with our "Q" box this week, job well done! A shout out to Mrs. Dibert for coming in and being our Guest Reader... We loved "Hop on Pop"! April and I would like to thank all of you for meeting with us during parent Teacher Conferences last week and once again thank you for choosing SAES for your child's education! Have a wonderful weekend, xoxox

We were all about the insects this week and learned our new song, "Head, Thorax, Abdomen and Wings" to help teach us the body parts of an insect. We were "bugging out" over our Learning centers. We wrote our letters in honey, created our own bugs, counted out ladybugs, enjoyed our sensory bin, tried to pull some spiders (which we learned are not insects) out of their webs and lastly illustrated our songs. We thank all the families that helped us with the "c" box. Our Guest Reader this week was Mrs. Nkurunziza thank you, we all loved MICKEY. We look forward to learning all about the ladybug and its lifecycle next week. Our Ladybug Larve surprised us and arrived this afternoon instead of Monday. Some of our friends welcomed them into our classroom. We can't wait for all of our friends to check them out next week. Enjoy our pics from this week and have an amazing weekend. April and I look forward to meeting with you all next week during Parent Teacher Conferences. xoxo This week we revisited Spring since we felt like we were gypped the week after Spring Break, when we missed quite a few days due to our snow days. This time though we focused on birds coming back and all they do in the Spring (while still being aware of all of the signs of Spring). The letter for our week was "O" and our friends did an outstanding job with our letter box. We learned a new song about Spring and illustrated it during our learning centers. Check out the pics from our week and our learning centers. Thank you to Mrs. Stewart for being our Guest Reader, it feels like forever since we had one! Moving forward we are excited for our first full week of school in a while. :) Have an amazing weekend! Thank goodness the weather forecast has changed and I think we are now not expecting anymore white stuff! :) xoxo |
