Tis the season to be jolly and CRAZY! ;) Hold on for the ride.. 9 and 1/2 days to go!
Our little elves were very busy this week. Unfortunately, we do not have pictures as they were hard at work preparing some Holiday gifts... and as the old saying states, "No peeking!".. :) Our Preschool-1st Grade concert is Friday the 8th @ 8:45am-9:15am with a small reception following. Our preschoolers will be animals and our costumes arrive Monday. I will be in touch Monday letting you know what your child needs to wear under their costume. Your child will either be an owl, sheep or cow. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we prepare for the concert. We will be performing at the All School Chapel on Thursday the 7th @ 9:45am as well. All are welcome. If your child does not attend school on T/Th we would still love for them to join us for the performance if possible. I do want to extend an invite to ALL of our Families and Preschoolers to join us on December 15th at 10:00am (- 11:00am) for Our Caroling/Cookie Exchange and some sweet treats. I have attached two google docs to our "How Can I Help" page. One document asks for you to sign up for the cookie of your choice (for our Cookie Exchange). Please refrain from signing up for duplicates. We ask that each family bakes 34 cookies and packages the cookies in pairs, for easy distribution on the morning of the 15th. We would love for our preschoolers to help in the baking of the cookies. Please take some pictures and send them our way (electronically is great). The pictures will be shared and displayed in our room. The second Document is a sign up sheet for some "goodies" on the 15th after our caroling. Our plan is to create some edible Christmas trees and to enjoy a sweet & salty snack alongside with hot chocolate... all to enhance our holiday mood! :) If you would like to donate please feel free to sign up. A friendly reminder that all students are dismissed on the 15th at noon. There is no Extended Care that day. I think that is it for now... We hope you all get a chance to slow down (find your zen) this weekend and enjoy some quality family time! Namaste xoxo
