Here our last few pictures of the last 3 days of school! If you have Field Day pictures please send them my way and I can add them to the site! Enjoy these pictures of Mr. Gross' animals from Del Castle and Skittles. The children absolutely adored him! :) Lastly, thank you so much for giving me this opportunity to "teach" your children. They have all touched my heart and will never be forgotten! We wish you all a relaxing and safe summer and we look forward to seeing our friends as big Pre-K Friends in September!

I can't believe we have 3 school days left! This has been an amazing year and the growth that we have witnessed in your precious children is just heartwarming! They have big futures! :) Please enjoy these pictures from the last two weeks. We have tried to squeak in a little more learning, although I feel as though we are swimming up stream! ;).Thank you, thank you to all those who attended our Field trip. It was a great day and our hearts were full. We have made a difference for at least one family that is going through a difficult time and how can we not feel proud about that?! Just a few reminders as we move into our last week of school. Monday is our Field Day all students and parents are welcome. Our festivities will begin at 9 am and will end around 10:15 am. Please let me know if you would like to volunteer. I have only heard from a handful of parents. Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for our fun. Sneakers are a must, because if it is going to rain we will be in the gym. Tuesday is our Pizza / Ice cream sundae party (11:45-12:30) all students and parents are welcome! No lunch is needed that day. If you have signed up to bring in a treat on the google doc, please it in by Tuesday morning. Wednesday is our last day of school, It is a full day. I think that is it for now... Have an enjoyable weekend and we look forward to our last few days with these amazing kiddos! xoxox Our week started with a surprise our Praying Mantis eggs had hatched! We released them on Monday morning, after doing some research. We decided we wanted to spare our youngest learners from a cruel life fact that they will eat each other if they do not have food. So out we went to release them because we didn't actually know when they had hatched. The egg case was intact on Friday afternoon, yet Monday morning we were greeted by 100's of baby Praying Mantids. We jumped into our amphibian unit learning some neat information about amphibians. There are really three groups of amphibians... frogs/toads, salamanders, and caecilians (they look like giant earth worms). The kids thought it was cool that amphibians usually live a double life starting out breathing with gills and then as they mature they breathe with lungs like all of us! Mid week was rough and Mother Nature was a bit cruel... but if the rain was not going to go away we were going to work with it... and that we did!! :) I will let the pictures and your child's wet clothes speak for themselves. ;) Next week we are going to continue learning about frogs and I hope to put my hands on some live tadpoles so we can witness the frog lifecycle, before summer. Have a great weekend and I hope we all don't float away. xoxox Bien Hecho Mis amigos!!! Well done my friends this morning!! I hope you were able to see our Spring Concert (yesterday or) this morning! It was a wonderful early Mother's Day (and Father's Day ;)) present to all of us. I am so proud of all of our preschool friends, they sung their little hearts out! :) |
Well we have finally made it back to school!! Just in time for Friday!! ;) We are trying very hard to get a groove going, but I think Mother nature has another plan for us. Here are some pics from before Spring Break and some from earlier this week. I can not believe that Easter is next week. We will be celebrating with an Easter Egg hunt on Thursday at 10 am. All are welcome! Please see homepage and the email from earlier today on what your child needs. Have an awesome weekend and we hope we will have all four days next week! Just a friendly reminder we are off from school on Good Friday and Easter Monday. xoxox | |
'"We have been full of love and teeth these past two weeks. Please enjoy these pics from Valentine's week and Dental Health. Thank you to all that contributed to our Valentine's Day luncheon and to Ms. Lassiter for being our Guest Reader last week. We celebrated our 100th day of school this week. Our shirts were all amazing., thank you, thank you! Muchos gracias to all who contributed to our 100th day snack as well. We had Dr. Neena and her dental hygienist Ms. Heather here today to provide us with some information on how we can keep our twenty teeth strong & healthy. We loved their "brushing buddies" and had a ball brushing their teeth and tongues! :) Thank you to Ms. Brockenbrough for being our Guest Reader this week.
Next week we will celebrate Dr. Seuss. Please send in a Dr. Seuss book with your child on Monday/ Tuesday. Please write your child's name on it, this way if we have duplicates we know it will be returned to you. :)
Each day we will read a new book and wear something for one of the books.
Monday is crazy socks, Tuesday Pajama day, Wednesday is wacky Wednesday (mix match day), Thursday wear all green, Friday wear colors black & red.
please continue to wash hands, we are starting to drop like flies again. :(
Have a wonderful weekend, it might be a soggy one again.
